Can anyone recommend a pet friendly hotel in the island (also cheap and nice ? I am arriving there this January and want to stay in the hotel until i find a permanent place to live.

Pets are permitted on the common ferry boats, but not the quick ferry boats. So that ways to some sailings to Yung Shue Wan only. Well-behaved dogs wouldn't be an issue at many of the outside dining locations, but I would think not welcome at inside locations.
