2nd house from the right, as seen from street level. Empty cardboard boxes outside the house, big flower pots on the patio as seen from the public pier below Lamma-1.

I wonder if these people are aware of the VIP celebrity status they'll have here whenever they show their faces in public and people point them out to each other, the first-ever luxury gated community tenants in the history of Lamma, the highest-ever rent, the only real swimming pool anywhere so far, private boat service to town, gym, clubhouse, security; all firsts on Lamma, I believe; the beginning of a new up-market era for the Lamma community.

The original plan was a 24-hour service exclusively for Lamma-1 residents, to bring them and their visitors on demand to various destinations on HK Island. But first they'd need more than a few residents to make this possible, of course.

Plans might have changed in the last few years, like that coastal road to the YSW ferry pier they hoped the Govt. would build for them.

I wonder when the next of their development plans on Lamma, as outlined in that Apple Daily article in our ex-Lamma Quarry topic, will get off the ground.

Agree with Alan I bet there is not a private boat service. How would it work if Mrs A wanted to leave at 8am to go to work and Mr B wanted to leave at 830? At best they would have a very limited private service with fixed times.

The ONLY property listed on Squarefoot magazine's website on all of Lamma, they're only advertising the standard-size Village Houses, not the duplexes yet; all 3 floors, for 1 family:

$59K or $62K.

Well lads, the person who has moved in to the "gilded cage" was assisted by Nick the Book, He's a working-class Londoner and don't know how much he's paying - he's already been to the Bars in Main Street, so hardly a mystery, particularly given he's already a member of the Lamma Boards.
