This is completely unnecessary and should be halted immediately as it is destroying Lamma.

The old schemme was entirely sufficient and only needed some modification and support from the government.R

Didn't the old system dump untreated sewage in sea?

How is that "entirely sufficient"?

I am not a big fan of more concrete and development, but this is one development that is long overdue. Indeed, there was no "scheme" before but simply untreated sewage and household chemicals running straight into the ocean. We could do with fewer algal blooms.

The "old scheme" was the privies you see in the old paddyfields, so sewage was used to fertilise the farms. Not really practical for the semi-suburban housing we have mostly now.

I agree with Nancy.

But I know It's just a nuisance (for want of using a stronger word) when the noise and disturbance is happening just outside your home.

I just wish they would hurry up. It's taking forever.

For a city that can knock up buildings in a few months, (to me) it's taking a ridiculously amount of time, unbelievable inconvenience to everyone at some point in their day, etc... etc...

When is it all supposed to be finished?

I know someone can provide me with information :-)
