Brad Tarr, Lamma 500 Event Director writes: "The Lamma 500 is in its 10th year this year and it was a sell out 1 month before the start - 1st May 2016. As well as local teams, we have USA, Singapore and China competing. 80 teams in total. We also have the Tin Hau Festival on the 1st May (which finishes at 1pm) - so two Dragon Boat events on the same day is going to be the biggest event day Lamma has ever seen. I'm inviting media to attend. - We have Localiiz and Lamma-zine... and this is great. If you have any suggestions or you can help, please let me know." - Full media release & website.

10th Lamma 500 this Sunday, May 1st, '16, Power Station Beach! All details on their website at http://Lamma500.com. No posters, banners or promotional stuff available yet, but the media release tells the story: http://Lamma500.com/media160329.htm I'll be alternating between Lamma Day dragonboat/sampan races in the morning outside the Sampan restaurant and the Lamma 500 international races at lunchtime to the late afternoon off Power Station beach. I loved last year's T-shirts, wondering what they'll come up with this year:
