Spinoza,

That reply of "Idiot" was an answer to your question in the previous post:
"But, I ask again, what do you call an American astronaut in diapers driving 100 miles to kidnap a rival for the affections of an American space commander?"

Granola Eater responded, quite correctly, that you could call this American astronaut an "idiot". He did not call YOU an idiot.

That was my interpretation - I thought about it for a little while when seeing it, realising that Granola Eater might have posted that ambiguous comment on purpose - otherwise that comment would have been moved straight into Fight Club as a personal attack. Aggressive debates and swear words are all fine in the public forums, but unwarranted name calling is not.

Or to say it with Jack Nicholson in "The Witches of Eastwick":
"Why can't we all just...get alooong?" with his usual devilish smirk, just before all hell breaks loose (literally)...

I agree; "incontinent" would have been better. Love might make you do stupid things but it doesn't make you shit yourself. Or maybe said Astronaut was driving so fast that fear may have taken the upper hand, has anyone ever shat themselves because they were scared because they were driving really fast? Maybe that's why where i am now smells of shit ; because the people here drive so badly they get scared and crap themselves. Most people think its the sewage plant.

Now thats a cop out LG. The cereal cruncher and his big business friend called me an idiot and I got sent to the FC.
Must be you are afraid of their witless wrath and do not wish to offend them.
I gave you more credit than that LG - thats a pitiful interpretation and seems sycophantic.

Spinoza: If you look at the whole post, which I'm sure you must have, you will see that I don't think it's it's at all appropriate to name call, and I made reference to the 'idiot' posting. Unfortunately, I realize that I, in turn, also name-called by referring to Granola as a 'savage.'

It's so much easier to preach than to practice.

I would like to say that I do enjoy from your posts and I lean a lot by Googling your many references.
But I can see why some people react so much to your writing, even if they aren't (in my opinion) doing it appropriately.

Well, yes I do sometimes - for example when Spinoza referred to me in a recent post with the term 'bien pensant' I had a vague idea what it meant. But I didn't realize its pejorative use until I read the Wikipedia article on it. I'm pretty ignorant in many ways and I guess this is emboldened for me when I have get out the reference books understand how I've been insulted. Ah well, life's all about learning and everything can be put to this good use. :-)

Your getting completely confused here. The British never sent second and third raters to the colonies, crap. FILTH was a concept of the 90's conceived by the moderately successful, I've been here longer than you crowd,

Better watch who your insulting ****** and don't pretend you know anything about HK because you read one book. Some of us where there and your insulting our parents.
