Hi Guys,

We're 3 guys (Axel, Tom & me) that are building a boat here on Lamma. Thought I could share some of the progress so far:

http://schmarckq.imgur.com/all/

It's an outrigger canoe - skin over frame

The pictures are not in the right sequence, but I hope it makes sense.
If anybody is interested having a look, or has some good advice, you can contact me on 69762513 or smit_mark [at] yahoo.com

Mark

You guys are selfish to left the rubbish after having fun. I am annoyed by the rubbish (broken wood pieces from boat building) becuase those insect like mosquito , cockroach, and worm, etc . love this environment. Be responsible ........ I paidHKD150 to ask somebody else to remove some of the rubbish around us. After the boat moved, there are "still" some rubbish left now
We are the one who live in the flat and now we are suffering from the rubbish from you guys.
Thank you for your kind attention.

Hi Yuko - I'm sorry to hear that. We will reimburse you for the money and we removed the last bits and pieces today. Hope it wasn't too much of a problem. I also asked the mosquito's if they could relocate with us to the new location.

Thanks for caring after few months.
You guys are too late to move it today.
I wont take any single dollar from you.
Its not about money, its about responsiblity.
You are too young to understand.

Have the builders of this boat given up on this project? It has been left for a couple of months now surrounded by off cuts and other assorted rubbish and dumped items creating a bit of an eyesore for those who live around it.

Not given up - excuse us for the trouble, had a few weeks holidays. We will clean up asap, and continue to finish in the next couple of weeks. Sorry for the mess / eyesore

We'll use a PVC skin to wrap around, so it will be nice and light (and hopefully watertight!). We had one a few months ago, but when we were putting it in place, we made a wrong cut... - so we had to order a new one, imported from China - so yeah that took a while. We got it now, and will continue on Saturday.
