| Post subject: | Power Outage in the middle of the night |
My wife woke up around 3:30am (Sun, June 15th) and the power was out. Went back on around 3:45. Google search turns up nothing. Not sure if it was Lamma only. Power outages are pretty rare in HK. Anybody know what's going on? |

Went off in Tai Peng too. I'd guess related to weather--there was rain and possibly lightning (though it didn't wake me). The local power and especially phone lines are pretty slapdash around here. Lines dangling from buildings and trees like a third world slum. I disconnect my computer at night if it looks like a storm after my last one was killed by lightning striking the phone lines. |

well, i have had problems all morning with NOW TV, tried to get thru to hotline 1833888, recorded message "due to high system traffic ... apologies for problem with NOW TV service. try later " however, back on NOW. (12.40PM) |
