I'm a single mother of a 3-year-old girl and a baby due in December. We just moved back to Hong Kong last month, and I'm considering moving to Lamma Island, as I've never cared much for city life. I'm currently in between jobs and will probably work at home whilst taking care of the kids.

I'm wondering what kind of place is Lamma island for kids? How are the schools on Lamma? Do most kids go there or to schools on HK Island? What do kids do after school?

Is there any safety issue on Lamma?

Any recommendations on which village to live in?
