I am looking at severing my ongoing mobile phone 'service' with 'Smart'tone and thinking about moving to a different provider. Does anyone know what the coverage is like these days in Tai Peng Old Village? I seem to remember it was crap with virtually all service providers....

China Mobile is crap.
Completely dead in Tai Peng, I have to walk about 5 minutes along the path to the fire station before I get a signal.
I think "Three" works.

Note: there is a cell tower on the roof next door to me, but no notice as to who it belongs to to avoid nutjobs complaining about radiation

cheers. a friend suggested i try the pay as you can sims to see who can deliver....guess I'll give 3 a go first. would be nice if the choice was better, or at least the reception on lamma.

3 is kind of crap, too.
