Ah, another Solowheel version (China-made copy?). I've been promoting these for some time now, just for fun as they're still technically illegal on Lamma (?)

I saw the first of this type on Lamma on the Family Trail a few weeks back, with a seat like a monocycle, going uphill.

I'd want one, if they wouldn't be so much more expensive and much slower than my trusty, rusty mountainbike.

Not a China copy. The spec for components such as the Samsung Lithium battery, and the motor, are much higher than the locally manufactured components included in the copies of which you speak.

Technically illegal is a shame, and it will be interesting to see how it all goes as the trend generally takes off!

Not much more that an MB (depending on rust its true), and fast enough. Actually they are restricted to 16 K/ph for safety

Guess what I saw the other day in Cyberport?

It was amazingly smooth, gliding backwards/forwards with just tiny body shifts. Smooth and unobtrusive enough to be used in-doors and nobody was complaining to this teenager.

Ecoranger, you've got something similar and not as expensive as a top-of-the-line mountainbike?

I might ask our police chief in the YSW Plaza family event on Sunday if something like this would be stopped by her officers on Lamma.
