I wonder if you guys found Tuk Tuk :( annoying. I had a quick look and didnt see threads complaining about it, so I guess you guys are used to it. I spent a few days in Lamma last week and in general it was a pleasant stay...except.. there were too many Tuk Tuk (tractors?) on the island. It would hv been ok if they were slow and more pedestrians friendly. Most of them were not. I understand they are needed for deliveries where there arent other vehicles allowed in the island. But accidents can easily happen and it surely disturb the Island peace and calmness. Do the drivers even have driving licence? I saw many of them talking on the phone while they are 'driving'.

They're called VVs -- Village Vehicles.
They are licensed.
You can complain to the police if you see one acting recklessly.

They're noisy, but at least that means you do know when they are coming.

They're not allowed to run most places on the weekends, when there are more people around.

Like snakes and dogshit, if you live here you learn to deal with them.
