I'm wondering if there happens to be any estimed Sifus/masters of traditional Chinese martial arts based on Lamma island. I've caught glimpse of people practicing on the Main Street, by the library and the football pitches before. It would be fantastic to make contact with them to see if they would teach their art. Currently studying one southern style in Hk island but it would be great to expand that with something more local. Many thanks :)

Ask the people practicing! The younger ones will probably speak enough English to tell you that their sifu doesn't speak English.

The practicioners you see around are usually "elderlies" practicing Tai Chi, not Kungfu, sponsored and organised by the LCSD Dept. of Govt.

There was a traditional Kungfu school in Sha Po Old Village, but it closed down a while ago (see Lamma-zine a few days ago).
