Welcome to Lamma, new babe!

You have already made the big first step of becoming part of the community by joining Lamma.com.hk!

Many of the best, nicest, brightest and coolest people on Lamma are here and eager to help new arrivals with advice and support! 8)

Just check out the many Lamma-related forums and topics we have here!
Read my "My Lamma e-zine" every Friday!
If you can't find what you're looking for, just open a new topic yourself and ask any question you like!
<HR>
But I'm still kind of upset at you, new babe, for taking up that special one-time satellite TV offer from Igor, as I was hoping to get it first...

But I had to wait for a client to pay me (still waiting) before being able to afford the satellite, and you were faster! Well, it's my own fault (actually, my client's) and I've missed my chance, having to pay the full price now...

Do the English channels work now on your new setup?

P.S. All these new arrivals with their big wallets buying up the best parts of Lamma that we poorer long-time residents can't afford.... harumpfffff! grumblegrumble...

Sorry, new babe,

I confused you with another new arrival on Lamma who moved in just a few days ago, getting satellite TV set up right away, "pandorax".

There are so many new people joining Lamma.com.hk, about 4 per day recently, I get confused sometimes...

I'll buy you a drink when we meet in person, to make up for my mistake, OK?

Meeting people should be extremely easy, if you like bars.
The many nice restaurants are good places to meet new people as well.

Events like the Lamma Fun Day (8 Dec), the Lamma Animal Protection garage sale (27 Oct) and the Dickstock concert (26 Nov) are very sociable events. Check out our Events Calendar at http://www.lamma.com.hk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=158.

There are also quite a few parties going on on weekends and it shouldn't be too difficult to get invited if you know somebody going.

People are usually very easily approachable here, just start talking to them anywhere you meet them, on the street, in the shop, on the ferry...

I just said hello to you somewhere else here!

If you see me on the street just come up and talk to me. People do this all the time! hahahahhaa I actually look like my avatar photo. Except it's red streaks in my hair now not purple.

See you soon!

Hi new babe,
I cant believe that a new babe who describes herself as 'new babe', and has made NINE posts so far hasnt already had dozens of invites to partys on our lovely little isle. ,,,COME ON PEEPS, pour some booze down her neck, bet she's a laff when she's blotto!!
As for pubs, the Deli is a great place for sunsets and a lot more, but getting pissed anywhere on Lamma is quite easy (i'm an expert), so just pop on down for sunset say hello and show us your Homer Simpson impersonation, we are all right down here!
See you around, must dash now as the medicine is wearing off, ???
Celtic Viking.
p.s. I used to be a werewolf, but I'm better nowwwwoooowwoooooooow:)

Hello, "Mister Lamma.com.hk",

We haven't heard from you in a while, Celtic Viking.
You've been quiet since your big win, becoming our official "Mister Lamma.com.hk" by joining as the 100th member.

So, how's it going with all the fame & glory bestowed upon you now? Taking advantage of it by trying to impress the ladies, I assume?

By the way, did the lesbian couple ever take up you good-Samaritan offer in our Personals section?

new babe,

If you've read the e-zine I've sent to everybody yesterday, I've been asking our members to welcome you into our fun little community.
Expect HUNDREDS of party invites very soon!

Maybe someday I will get invited to a party, too. :(
But then, I'm not a single (?) "new babe", just a married old geezer, over 30, over the hill...

Hello Lamma Gung,
Well its been a very busy week, shaking hands with old ladies, kissing babies and trying to cope with all the girls banging at my windows after midnight, opening early Valentines as well as marriage proposals to boot!! The fame has not gone too far into my head though, as the ladies never did get in touch, (guess I sounded too macho eh?)
anyway, you can find me easily in the village, I'm the guy with the big red sash.
Celtic Viking. :D

Hail to Celtic Viking!

Our hero! So you're a real Celtic Viking then, a proud Nordic warrior
(fought and lost many battles with the fierce demon alcohol) with a "big red sash" (around your head, covering your eyes?) to show off your many victories in battle (in the pub, killing bottles), with a "big red sash" to demonstrate your special status as a leader among men (leading in drinks consumed), standing out from all the weaklings (can't hold as much liquor as you) around you who look up (while lying drunk on the floor) admiringly to their hero (Greatest Drunkard of Lamma)...

We'll have to find a crown fitting for our exalted "Mister Lamma.com.hk", something to go with your "big red sash"...
a little red water bucket maybe, the kind that children use to build sand castles?

P.S. Sorry for teasing you, as I don't even know you yet. For all I know, you could be a sweet and sensitive soul and I might have hurt your tender feelings... But I don't think so!

Dickstock will be on SATURDAY, not Sunday.

You'll only find a lot of hung-over fans and musicians sleeping (and snoring melodiously!) in the bushes if you go there on Sunday!
