"Lamma is filled with natural hazards including falling tree branches, gravity pockets, gone-native gweilos and gwei pohs, snakes, centipedes, rampaging wild boar, packs of stray dogs, massive spiders and awe-inspiring hornets. It is not for the faint-hearted, and certainly not for the nature-phobe.

On the upside, it's got a great on-line community that can advise you in case of bite, sting or other medical emergency. No 24 hour doctor tho'"
