Submitted by a private banker to the Lamma Tourism Office, which is what many Lamma visitors take this website for: "Please tell me, how can I get to Lamma Island? "I live in Bel-Air, Cyberport so I am assuming the easiest and fastest way to get there is to organise a water-taxi to pick me up from Cyberport Park and go straight across to the Island? "If this is correct, please tell me, what is the number for booking a water-taxi and how much will this cost (return)? "Thank you very much for your help." I tried to help, but I very very rarely ever take a water-taxi to or from Cyberport, so I could only recommend the low-class ferry options. Anybody got some good advice on "easiest and fastest ways" for this route, independent of price? Jetskis? Submarine to avoid the container ships? Human cannon ball? |

You can swim from Cyberport. Its cheap and reasonably fast. |

Its cheap and reasonably fast. It's cheap and reasonably fast way to die. A teenager drowned in the waters of East Lamma Channel just off the coast near Wah Fu a few years ago. From the Lamma Yellow Pages: 水上舢舨 - 友叔 90129264 NIL Sampan - Yau Sook 水上舢舨- 魚蛋婆 98285538 NIL Sampan - Yu Dan Por Or just take the ferry from Central or Aberdeen. To Central Exchange Sq.: New World First Bus 30X ($6.5) To Aberdeen: Green minibus 58($4.0) or Citybus 73($3.9) There're few guys who regularly jetski from Aberdeen to Luk Chau Wan I think... |

well... digging a few dollars out of the fat pockets of those bankers is better than nothing. (since they leave you with nothing) |
