I am new to Lamma and to this site. Can anyone help me find a place to learn the bongo drums or African drums on Lamma? I am willing to pay for tuition. Sunday would be the best day for me to learn.

Thanks

There are some African drummers living here, about half the way on the way to Hung Shing Yeh. They're selling drums and probably teach as well.
You could get their contact by sending a aprivate message to "bbChris" or maybe from somebody else reading this board.

And there's Kumi, organising drum jam sessions all over HK and on Powerstation Beach: http://www.drumjam.com.hk

A few years ago Clive Keep would be the obvious one to ask about drums. There were some great drum parties up near Pak Kok and the teepee.
