It's a rare occasion that I come across a band with Lamma members I've never heard about before.

Today is such a day. Introducing Lamma Quintet! Performing tonight, 8/8.

Not on Lamma yet, hopefully soon, but in the Peel Fresco Music Lounge in Central, performing tonight.

Members Andrew Collier and Jimmy Pittman live in Lamma, Pierre Veniot lives in Tuen Mun, often visiting Lamma, Tsui Chin Hung is born in HK.

Hmmmm, a quintet with only 4 members?
Either you have to rename yourself or find one more member!

Pierre Veniot writes: "Life is full of mysteries... to be explained Friday..."

The Lamma Quintet (5) has become a Quartet (4) - as suggested in the post above last year - focusing on frequent Jazz nights at the Lamma Grill and in town.

Check them out, it's (still) a rare pleasure to hear jazz in a Lamma bar!
