I'd love to hear from musicians living here on the island.

The beautiful surroundings must be very inspiring for composers and musicians. It would be great to hear some Lamma-inspired music and see how Lamma for creativity.

Of course, we had the great Sisters of Sharon, local favorites, before they unfortunately disbanded. :cry:

there's our own Dan - the Bastard. Singer for The Bastards. Frequently found haunting his own "Dan Kwai Fong" area of Lamma Island.

Wow, Rock Goddess!

That's a long list of musicians, all just from the top of your head?
I knew that I had asked the right person, the real expert!

As a musician yourself, what about Lamma inspires you personally to create and play music? 8)
The laid-back, serene life here doesn't seem to inspire the kind of great but hard-edged rock your group is playing?
Maybe it's just too peaceful and quiet here sometimes, so you need an outlet for all that energy that Rock Goddesses are well-known for? :twisted:

Well both the Island Bar & the Deli-Lamma have been very hospitable to rock bands. Even the Woodworm vegetarian restaurant has had acoustic performers there.

Then there's been festivals on the beach and of course Dickstock.

Maybe if the Government insists on the reclamation, we can INSIST on a live music bar?!?!?!?

Lamma-Gung - to answer your questions - nothing about Lamma inspires me! hahahahhaa It's the other parts of my life that enjoys Lamma. Although being able to make LOTS OF NOISE with no neighbours around is a GREAT advantage - hahahhahahahahaha
