Love classical, thank you Yogesh for bringing up the subject. Spin you are a dreamer. 1. Classical music has no geographical boundaries. Most popular Classical is German and we still love it. 2. Yogesh posed a question and proposed nothing. If you feel strongly enough to reply then perhaps you can organise something bigger than DickStock? 3. Lamma already has a number of strolling violinists amongst other strings players. Had you taken the time to introduce yourself to the island, other than virtually, you would know this already. 4. "Raga on Stenhouse is a great idea, especially when you have it during sunrise” but the Aberdeen-SKW ferry shall not start that early. 5. "Lamma could use a world music festival. Might be able to get government support." Hold up whilst I give Mike a call, surely you're not that naive? 6. "I shall be too busy". 7. "Corporate funding would also be available.. " excuse me whilst I finish blowing my raspberry. 8. Nerine Barrett for the Classical Jamaican set, Bob is great but hardly the same genre. BTW Spin, don't you have your own forum now? |
