Zoundz[zaundz], INTERJECTION: Used to express anger, surprise, or indignation. An active local nu metal band which performed in China, Taiwan inc.(SpringScream) and Hong Kong inc.(Rockit Fest) since 2001.

Album: “MantiZexizm”, is a combination of 2 totally
irrelevant words “Mantis + Sexism”, named by the Hong Kong nu-metal band “ZoundZ” debut album song Mantisexism. Its idea came from the behavior- Sexual cannibalism, which is a special case of cannibalism in which a female
organism kills and consumes a male of the same species before, during, or after copulation. It’s also a metaphor of how 2 sexes destruct by their wrestling, love and hate relationships.

Hatred and devastation are the main theme of the album. As a
metal band, heaviness, chaos, roughness and explosiveness are typical elements. Merging with dark melodic and introspective lyric will motivate the audience to a deeper level of consciousness, to a totally naked and sadistic truth of both sides of our sentiments.

The album has taken several years of process, start recording in Hong Kong from 2007. Mixed and Mastered in Italy from 2008, and will release on 10th Jan 2010 distributed by 89268.
