A few photos from training outside the YSW Library, submitted by Gary. Bootcamp and kickboxing training is happening on Tue and Thu evenings, plus Sunday mornings 9am, and is conducted by Frank who's just finished filming God of Gamblers 4 with Chow Yun-fat in Macau. He's also a regular sparring partner of ex-Lammaite MMA champion Alain N'Galani (who's got 3 boys of his own by now!)

See what I just found on Facebook, in the Lamma Mixed Martial Arts group, see below. Looks like somebody "improved" my original photo in this topic above. Somebody (could it be the skinny-but-fit guy in the picture, 2nd from the right?) Pretty nice Photoshop-like filter, but executed with an Android phone app. More, please!

Skinny but fit! I consider that offensive, the same as calling someone; Fat but fit! Choose your words carefully! |

People that aren't skinny see it as a compliment. |

Well, I'm (still) Fat but (moderately) Fit, and I would not consider that offensive! So what are you going to do about it, Skinny-but-fit one? Beat me up? As an MMA practicioner you could do that easily, but let's have another brunch together instead! |

Most men don't want to be called skinny, they like to think of themselves as strong and virile or want to be a protector/superhero type. I used to pretend to be Spiderman when i was younger, that was a couple of years ago..... Now it's Batman! |

Love your skinny-but-fit Christmas card, Lamma MMA. I was playing Santa Claus before, without pillows, now I'm somewhere in-between these two types:

Congrats to Franck, Lamma's Mixed Martial Arts expert, for his cameo role in "From Vegas to Macau" with Chow Yun-Fat (also called God of Gamblers 3), currently running in HK cinemas. This must be the shortest-ever appearance by a Lammaite in a major worldwide motion picture. Frank, acting as a security guy in suit and tie gets hit in the head after mere seconds of screen time. Well, at least he got a trip to Macau, a day's pay (?) and a buddy selfie with Fat-Gor on his mobile phone out of it. The pride of quite a few Lammaites is a selfie together with Fat-Gor: Andy of Andy's Seafood, Frank, Lamma-Por, myself,... nousername, could we see that selfie of Franck & Fat Gor, please! |

Lamma MMA's Franck seems to be expanding to Shoot Boxing on the beach, see below. This will happen tomorrow, last Friday of the month, I assume, but on which beach? Yung Shue Wan, post beach cleaning/wedding last Sunday.
