A rare insight into what's inside your flat's floor and/or ceiling, a standard Village House in progress....

T-shirt design by Peter Bolt.
How many "Typically Lamma!" items can you spot and count?

Sand & gravel barge unloading yesterday, Sunday, at the public pier behind the Football Pitch.

Typically Lamma these days?

I'm also looking for a photo for the Lamma-zine, showing "VV rush hour" on Main Street, maybe on Nick's Corner or outside Mr Kebab, showing several VVs in the same picture crossing each other. Anybody got one?

Taken this morning up on the Snake Path between the Catholic Kindergarten and Tai Peng. A Lamma Dragonboating lady (or one of the men?) so drunk after the Mad Hatter's Iced Tea Party in The Island Bar last night that s/he forgot the hat on her/his way home early this morning?

Definitely qualifies for very typical Lamma Photo of the Day.

Or would this also qualify as Lamma Wildlife of the Day with all the pinkish feathers and the Cheshire Cat in the centre, maybe the cat that caught the pink bird?

Or could this even be a Lamma Artwork of the Day, the combination of feathered hat, cat-tag and red fire hydrant is definitely eye-catching and thought-provoking, stirring our curiousity about WHY it was left there!

Who can come up with the best caption for this photo???

After seeing this display on a rock just beside the path from the ferry pier, right after the Post Office, I'm seriously considering visiting our vegetarian places more often....

Just below Granny Chan's place, a worker cutting down low-hanging tree branches over the main path with a circular saw.

Installing a split-level aircon on the 2/F of a brand-new Village House.
No, there was no scaffolding there anymore...

Sorry, no pictures of how he climbed down there from the rooftop and back up again. He even waved at me while working on sealing up the aircon pipes....

A few more recent shots showing unusual Lammaites or "Typically Lamma!" scenes,
like our oh-so-fashionable postman (and a great photographer himself),
plus a cut-down and cement-embalmed tree struggling to continue living...

On the way up to Po Wah Yuen. I liked the little icon...
How common are these all over YSW?

I peeked inside and there were quite a few "Excreta" wrapped up in newspaper balls inside....

Subject: Loch Ness Monster visits Lamma

Who can up with alternate captions?

I'd suggest:
Lamma Dragons practicing for the future Olympic discipline of Submarine Dragon Boating.

Lamma Dragons checking out the seabed for the future Harbour Reclamation, Phase II.

Don't know who this little girl is, but she makes a pretty picture playing in the old frangipani tree in Tai Peng.

A great photo by Dina our newly-appointed Official Court Sports Photographer.
Captions received so far by one of the worshipers below:

Uniformed worshipers on Lamma Island suddenly catch sight of the Supreme Being.

Emotional Lamma Islanders react as a flying saucer descends.

Any more suggestions for captions?

One lazy weekday afternoon on YSW Main Street, atop the HK Electric cables crossing the Concrete Nullah.

A "first" from Howard Sheard.

Who can come up with the best caption? Anybody?

Let me start:
It was raining beer on the last 2:30am ferry...

The latest hat fashion on the Pak Kok runways, practical millinery modeled by one of our indomitable and cheerful Lap Sap Ladies!

Mosquitoes, stay far far away! Who'd like one of these "just fabulous" hats?

Lamma Supermodel photo shoot by our Fashion Photographer and Senior Pak Kok Correspondent, Marcus.

From Ryan, titled, "Protest, perhaps?"

Do we really need a "Something about Dogs" shop?
