If it is on the Y2k side - then isn't Y2K shut on Mondays - 2pm coz of shadow on book - if opposite then might be about 10:00am, but not sure if Nick makes it that early
I'm quite open to being wrong though

It's gotta be Nick the Bookman's bookshelf, at Nick's Corner!

My sunset view description seems to be convoluted and unclear:
Just past the Island Gym you climb uphill, up the 50+ stairs to the top of that shotcreted slope behind the open-air Chinese restaurant back there. From the ledge at the top the view is really impressive and panoramic:

Yes, Samson, you're #2 to find the correct answer. Nick's book on Nick's bookshelf on Nick's corner on Nick's island...

Let's try some more unusual angles:

Duh! That wasn't a "Where on Lamma?" question, I was just showing the view from that spot beyond the houses up there! This game is not getting that easy!

But you're correct again about the new building going up opposite Dan's!
You're too good at this, let somebody else try for a change! More signs:

Sorry wrong thread. On a serious note though. I've tried several of these so-called "All Day Breakfasts" and they rarely take longer than half an hour to eat.

All day breakfast at the Lamma Bistro! I noticed the sign on Sunday night, wandering the Main Street, debating on what to have for dinner...

Correctamundo (to use one of your own favourite words), Mr Naughty Tai Peng-uin!

Another one, for animal lovers.
No, it's not the famous, recently deceased Ah Lui, the one-balled rooster who "...lived happily on Lamma Island", according to the SCMP...
Where does this even happier rooster live & survive & crow at 5am occasionally?

Half-way up the stair from the pier to Po Wah Yuen?

Sorry, Alan, wrong.

Noddy, where's that gambling den, which village? There are quite a few gambling dens, I believe...

Coming from the ferry, along Mainstreet, do a left at Nicks corner, do a right opposite Tropicana, take the first left & walk along rat gulley past the Butchers deep freeze, move onto the dirt (& often flooded) footpath, & our fiendish celebrity should be on the right somewhere just before the Philippine den with the awning & picture of Jesus Christ just inside the doorway..... :jump: maybe

Good & detailed description. You're right about the location, which would be in Sha Po Old Village. Correct!

That 24-hour card playing/eating/socialising den is really the social centre of that neighbourhood, called Little Manila by some, I believe. Correct?
I was thinking of taking some photos of the big private gatheriings, but they might not like any privacy intrusions by a snoopy non-Filipino...

Switching from animate subjects back to inanimate objects:
This picture was submitted by Gargoyle. The door has a chain across:

Upstairs on one of the shorter "fast ferries" - the one with the plastic weather covering around the upper stern area :jump:
