After posting the first Planet Lamma below on Facebook, a minor firestorm of Likes and Shares erupted. So here are a few more.
These were captured from animations on the
http://www.Aerobotshk.com website where these "planets" transform into interactive 360-degree panoramas, shot from a
"remote-controlled multi-rotor aircraft", like Lammaite Joe Yu's quadrocopter, but with up to 8 rotors. Click on the links on this page to see what I mean:

If you're interested how these were done:
These are stereographic projections (done for example with Photoshop's "Polar Coordinates") of 360-degree photos, all-round full-spheres, including above and below.
Their website above has animated "fly-ins" to a tiny planet, Google-Earth-style, down to the surface where the photo unwraps into a full 360-degree panorama. There are 4 Lamma panoramas, but also quite a few more of Aberdeen and other HK locations.
I simply captured the screen at the right moment of maximum planet size of the "fly-in", then pasting it into Photoshop for a bit of editing and compositing. All credits must go to those
wizards at Aerobots, who are doing this fun stuff for a living!<HR>
