Yes, soon-to-be-opened since last year...
But now they've just installed a name sign above the Chip Chop this week.
The sole owner, Miss Montana, is getting cuter by the day and is looking forward to the big opening party, sometime next year, I'd guess...

More construction:

Good guess, but no cigar!

So these wire underpants are the true reason they look so pained and aggressive sometimes? :D

Very good! It took a full day to find out this one!
So I'm not the only weirdo crawling under the ferry pier!

But this scaffolding is partially visible when looking down from the edge of the ferry pier and it stretches the entire length of the pier.
Anybody knows what they're planning to do down there? Repainting it where nobody can see it?

How about signs? Where's this "charmant" sign that would give my former French teacher an indignity attack?

For extra points, what type of business is it?

The mystery of the stairs with the aligned shoes is still unsolved!
Where on Lamma can you find such an extremely orderly household?

The TV one - is that the part time Estate Agent type place in the main street - guessing by the Pink Table cover - looks familiar - opposite is the restaurant that always has the chap outside trying to entice customers
Le Charmant is a Hairdresser run by the chap that used to have the Afro

Yes, "Le'Charmant Hair Desige" is a "hair design" shop with several creative spellings in his shop name, run by Ah-Lung.

No, the huge TV is not in a property agent and the table opposite doesn't belong to Ricky's "New Holiday Mood Restaurant".

Is it in the private house where all those local boys hang out about two doors down from Y2k opposite the juice shop and locksmith? There's a big fish tank in there as well.

the tv is often watched by a group of chaps with rather large beer bellies surrounded by the aroma of curry if i'm not mistaken

Diesel's? They've got TVs and curries...

Or do you mean Spicy Island? CORRECT!
I though that the Banyan Tree and the red table outside B&B in the background would give it away much earlier...

Beanburglar, you're probably correct about the staircase photo,
even though I have no idea what's going on in that household, but your description of the location is correct. You're still leading in this game by a wide margin!

Anybody got any more pictures to submit for this game?
Upload them yourself as email attachments, or email them to me!

Correct, Alan!

The "ridiculous glass walls" were described to me as a main attractive and very expensive feature when I was looking at the places when they were just finished building 2.5 years ago!

They wanted $15K for a 700sqft flat (mainly because of the satellite! and the view), but they don't even have harbour views, except the rooftops. The prices have come down very significantly since then (like half, I believe) and several of the flats are still empty, a good example of the very flat local property market...

But walking past the buildings, 20 metres further, at the edge on top of the almost vertical wall above the "VV parking square" besides the Island Gym, you've got one the best sunset views in YSW, a view of the entire bay, unobstructed, all the rooftops along Main Street just below you...

Next, a real close-up:
