Thanks Chuckm........ long way to go before I get there........ although one of my bugs pics did win a minor competition a couple of months ago.

But back to the snaps........... a couple of HKKF ferries broke down the other day, so a few lamma residents made alternative arrangements.....

Construction, of course. There's a sand pile as well.

They bring these materials into the harbour on a ship almost as long as the harbour is wide: see my Gravel Ship at Sunset photo gallery.

Here's a photo of the ship unloading and creating these piles, taken almost two years ago:

Yes, like a painting, almost too perfect to be a photo...
If it really is an unretouched photo, then it's a fantastic shot!

Must be almost maximal optical zoom. 300mm lens?

Somebody will want this as an Avatar... Insomniac, maybe?
