Phone calls and emails have been coming in since yesterday about the sampan that sank at the YSW ferry pier, causing quite an oil/petrol slick.

Does anybody know more about what happened and why it sank?

The authorities are still on Lunar New Year leave, so I haven't followed up with them yet to get accurate info instead of all the rumours flying around.<HR>
This is the location of the planned Cycle Parking Platform which is currently gazetted at the walkway to the Library and the noticeboard, open for your comments, opinions and objections till March 6:
