We were honoured and blessed to have Jenks in our community.

He certainly enriched my life and I miss him.

Thank you for your unique spirit, Jenks!

From very far away, I have read this thread several times and now I'm sitting here thinking to myself ... "I wish I could have known this man."

I have known a small number of such old-school gentlemen throughout my life, and have always viewed them with the deepest respect and admiration (and perhaps a bit of envy). My own father was such a person. I have the feeling I would have felt the same about 'Jenks', as Lammaites so fondly refer to him. The world could use a lot more good role models like him.
