| Post subject: | Leaving Lamma - Moving Experiences |
I'm currently working on a main feature story for the Aug Lamma-zine, about the large exodus of people leaving Lamma, returning home overseas or moving to a new country. As you know, June & July are probably the main months of the year for moving out of Lamma, especially for the huge teacher population. I'm looking for people who would be willing to write a few lines about their own, family's or friend's departure: farewell notes to their friends, best/worst memories of their time here, experiences with moving companies, anything related to "Leaving Lamma"... I'd also love to hear from ex-Lammaites, many of whom stay in touch with their friends remaining here via the Lamma Oldsters forum or the Lamma-zine. Quite a few have returned, some of them leaving/coming back up to 3 times, I've heard. Your stories, please! Any pictures would be most welcome, too! |

Any memories of leaving Lamma from our large ex-Lammaite online community, all the numerous members of the worldwide LOVE (Lamma Overseas Visitors Empire)? Any thoughts of moving back here... or not, because of all the stuff you read in the Lamma-zine and how much Lamma has changed nowadays (or not)? |

I left on the 4:30 on Saturday, but was back on the 6:20 - not Misty enough over there. But the ferry rides were nice. |
