Although I'm far too faraway to be there in person, please wish Saskia a HUGE happy birthday from me ! I used to know both of you when you lived on Lamma and your mum was always very good to me. When I saw your post I even went and dug out some old photos and sure enough, there you were, although only a baby !

The last time I saw you and Saskia (you probably don't remember), we danced at Caroline Taylor's wedding in London, about 12 years ago, I think.

I'm afraid I have completely lost touch with everyone I knew back on Lamma, and it was fun to discover the Lamma website a while ago.

So, say hi to your mum from me, and to any other ex-lammaites at the party. I hope it's a really good one, and I'll be raising a glass to you all over here in Canada - a *very* long way from both London and Lamma
