No, you are getting confused with that German bloke with bad hair who used to drink in the Corner Bar and source towel racks from Zhuhai for the Bavarian summer market. He left in 92, came back in 94 and left again in 96. Had a dog called Franz. Last I heard he was living in Sebu and had six kids.
