Hi all, May Ip here. I have been very quiet since last spring partly because here in Canada we only have 4 months of good weather to be outside; and partly because ... um ... well, some pics here will explain it best:) http://keemay.teledyn.com/node/2100 Can't believe it's almost time for another Dickstock. And Xmas Pantomime is coming soon too. How time flies. I was browsing pics of curently active lamma bands. Good to see some familiar faces. As for me, did a gig this summer for a friend at his book reading evening. May perform at a coffee house early December, depending on the baby. Keep the music going, guys. |

Hello Chris, The coffee house took place, but we did not make it. We had to go to Toronto that weekend. I don't have any gig planned in the near future. However, I am getting bacj into teaching guitar after the holidays. After 7 years of not playing much, my fingers are getting itchy I see that you have formed yet another band. Bet you are having lots of fun playing with many different musicians. While stuck at home with the baby |

pi pa is sort of a 4-stringed over tuning guitar Chinese style:) Actually, it's a pear-shaped Chinese string instrument. Yes, teaching is a nice way to easy back into playing. Enough pressure to get me practising again:) The boys are fine. Can you believe that Nolan and Kaelin are 7 and 6 now. The newest one of the family turned 3 months last Friday. He's very drawn to the sound of clarinet. I may have a 5 piece jazz band in 12 years:) Have something to send you. What is your mailing address again? |
