I suppose it has turned into a cheap little drinking hole, but folks should be warned about the Un-named Store just past the public toilets, before Jackson Realty. (they have a Carlsburg sign on the awning, but no visible name)

I was in there the other day because it had occurred to me that for as long as I had lived on Lamma, I had never once really looked inside that shop.

I picked up a can of tuna due to its cheap price, and then happened to look at the expiration date. 2010! Two years ago!!

The more I looked at the things on the shelves, the more I realized that the entire place was like this. I guess they only focus on selling beers to people who sit outside and the occasional bag of potato chips.

What really bothered me was that I tried to show the people working in there how things were all expired, and they shooed me out of the store and put everything back on the shelves. As if I were in there causing trouble. Hahah!

You need to watch yourself in the Yan Yan store as well although he does happily replace them if you have bought an expired item. Not very good at stock control I think, its happened to me loads of times there.

Spirits, beers and softs out of date in The Island Bar? Sounds unlikely.
