Heard from friend that 2 bar for sale on Lamma island. One called Spicys One called Diesels sports bar. We came last monday but could not find the Spicy bar. Diesel sport bar not open? maybe close? We are ever so interested in buying the diesel sport bar . who owner is local? Any number for the owner anybody know? Thanks M. Everard |

You mean the old location of the former Spicy Island Bar & Restaurant on Main Street. It's currently empty after the long-running dispute between the G/F and 1/F landlords has been settled by one of them selling to the other. The sale/rent is handled by Fok Ming real estate agency, I believe. Call them at 2982 0163 or 2982 5835. The new Spicy Island will be located about 100 metres down from the old location, on the left, towards Tai Peng. Former regulars are eagerly awaiting the pending, delayed reopening... The rumour about Diesel's for sale has been around for years - sometimes true as it has almost/really changed hands or management a few times in recent years - but most often it was just a rumour. Ask the English (?) owner directly, but I don't have his direct contacts handy. Call "The Bar Still Called Diesel's" at 2982 4116. They open after 6pm on most days, but not every day, and are offering tasty bar food as well. Still a great place to watch sports with your buddies. |

Looking for investor for sleeping partner. We had meet with owner England guy, and are very interesting in taking the diesel sport bar.
