Chinese francolins are usually making a racket this time of year on Lamma's hillsides, but I haven't heard one yet along the north coast end of Lamma, where there are plenty normally. Has anybody heard them?

Yes, I heard them calling on sunny days at the end of April and beginning of May in the hills behind Tai Peng
