Hi Everyone,

I am looking to brighten my balcony besides my green plants, my balcony receives direct sun in the mornings which means I really need hardy flowering plants.

Do any of you know where I would be able to obtain any of these plants on Lamma.

Bogenvilla - purple
Lavender
Lantana - this is a weed back in Australia, but I have seen it grown here.

I'd be happy to give you a small starter bougainvillea for free if you pm me. Its in a new square green pot and has quite a few shoots. I have too many

Lantana is a weed here too - it grows all around on the margins of the cable roads etc.

Thanks for letting me know where to find some Lantana Zep. I'm going to pot it so its doesn't run rampant.

I have quite a lot of Portulaca of various varieties - you'd be welcome to have some cuttings. These root very easily and grow best in full sun, but don't like the cold much, so their growth is slowing down for the year. There are a number of varieties you can see in the main flower bed in the Community Garden in Tai Peng.
