I had a wonderful pot full of blooming Narcissus bulbs this year but now they're almost kaput.
What should I do with them in order to preserve the bulbs? Do I need to remove them from the soil and dry them out? Should I cut off all the yellowing leaves?

According to the majority of the advice out there, most narcissus have been forced and the bulbs probably won't flower again, but my mum's method is to put the bulbs into a dark cupboard until the next season. She says don't cut the leaves off until they are completely dead and can be gently pulled off, or tie them up til they drop off. She has had some luck with getting bulbs to rebloom so its worth a shot.

thanks Samx - I'll try your moms method and try to remember to report back next year :-)
