When I came home at night around 8-9:00 p.m. I discovered a poisonous snake name Many-banded Krait or Banded Krait and I reported to the police already. Also I asked for the North Lamma GOPC and the nurse said that they don't have any blood serum to cure peoples after poisonous snake bite. Here is the sample pictures of these snakes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bungarus

krait bites can be deadly, but generally kraits are of a non-aggressive nature. unless you grab one and won't let go, it wouldn't be easy to get bitten if you just normally come across one.

even though kraits are highly venomous, they are shy and relatively slow moving and non-aggressive snakes.

i have caught many kraits but none has ever given a bite.

anyway, don't hurt or kill them. Calling police isn't good for the snake too... if you know how they will do to the snakes.. just let them go.

There was a snake of decent size last night on the steps up to Po Wah Yuen. Looks rather like that in wakuwaku's photo.

The snake was having a stand-off with a poor cat that must have accidentally come across it. A large crowd gathered and someone eventually used a broom to get the cat out of danger (that snake was coiled and ready to strike). I left after that, so I don't know what became of the snake.

Calling the police is only necessary if the snake has broken the law, but its usually the human the lets rip and commits assault. The snake may need to be renamed the bandaged Krait after so much abuse.

The snake ended up in our garden hedge, further up the hill from the steps. My wife heard lots of noise outside and went out to see two police men and a group of young guys in our garden trying to catch it!

I think they were successful and the snake was released unharmed!

Not to be confused with the bandaged Kraut, as you were referring to L-G after his operation.
