Well, another year has passed, and it's getting dangerously close to THAT time of the year again. Who's going to be first to hear one this year? The spring weather has been pretty screwed up this year, so the pattern may be atypical, but last year, the first one was heard on April 6th, which is ... tomorrow. |

we have being hearing them in pak kok for over 2 weeks now, i dont think its early cause trough all the years i'v being on lamma it has always being the sound track of my birthday around march . it gives me lovely flashback to some old ,wild ,wild days...

The Koels seem to have been unusually loud this year - waking me most mornings about 5.30. Still haven't heard an Indian Cuckoo, but can't be long ... |
