Hi, I'm fairly new to Lamma and would like to start learning more about the local ecosystem. Can anybody recommend a book to learn about HK wildlife and/or plants, or an overview of the ecosystem in general?

I am interested in everything from the rocks (or what's under the rocks!) to the birds.

Cheers!

A very good book which covers a lot of ground is The Ecology and Biodiversity of Hong Kong by David Dudgeon and Richard Corlett published by Joint Publishing/Friends of the Country Parks in 2004. The listed price is $150.
