Weekly e-zine? Wow, that message is over 3 years old! It went to a monthly "Lamma-zine" 3 years ago, then to kind-of-monthly 1.5 years ago and then to the DAILY "Lamma-zine Blog" a little over a year ago. It has managed to maintain the daily schedule since then, with a lot of help from a number of occasional collaborators, contributors and, yes, proofreaders. Sometimes the daily story is issued in a hurry (I've got paying work and a life OUTSIDE this website, ya know!) and there might be the occasional little typo, grammatical mistake or missing comma. Any typos found by readers will be corrected immediately and a reward is offered for finding them! A free blog subscription, meaning one single monthly text-only email to remind you what's new in the blog! But, Zippy, as you mentioned on Dec 15 that you like "many of the people here share my habit of only looking at the forums section of this site, not the homepage" - which means you never see the Lamma-zine Blog on the home page - so how would you know about the typos? |

Getting a bit paranoid there LG? I never mentioned any typos. And as you have correctly pointed out, even if you are prone to making typos - I wouldn't know cos I don't read the blog page (I maybe have a quick browse every month or so, but very rarely find anything that interests me enough to actually read. No offence intended - you're doing a great job, just not my bag baby) |

No problem at all, Zippy, The blog is definitely not for everybody and was never intended to be. There are so many blogs and websites out there, there's something for almost every taste. I meet enough "fans" on Main Street - some claiming to read the blog every single day, to my own amazement - to make it worthwhile to continue writing. The website traffic to the blog is almost 3 times the size of the forum traffic by now. The blog readership has more than doubled this year, so somebody out there seems to read it. And the blog advertising pays the bills of this website, including these forums. By the way, the blog is a community thingie, not my own soapbox at all, so everybody is most welcome to contribute anything they like. The less I need to write and photograph, the better! Hey, why not write a little story or commentary yourself, Zippy? I'd publish it - no matter at all if I like it or agree with it or not, you could even make fun of me! Could be fun, no? OK? Anybody is invited to get their views published to a bigger & wider audience than the forums can reach. |

Would you be kind enought to publish this poem on the blog please. It's called "Bored Stiff" We live on Lamma, we are happy. We live on Lamma, I wish in the tepee. We get drunk, with no need of a shirt, We get drunk, and with the maid I do flirt. We live on Lamma, we are happy, We live on Lamma, and with the maid it makes three. |

Fortune Chan {L_WROTE}: Would you be kind enought to publish this poem on the blog please.
You missed the chorus, it goes something like this; I can speak German What do you think of that I can speak German and I speak it like a Twat |

Congratulations, Casanova, You've just had your first appearance and quote on the home page of this website. Your refrain added on to Fortune's poem made the entire thing finally worthy of being published in the daily Lamma-zine Blog. Great teamwork, guys! So I've risen to your challenge, Fortune, to publish your "Bored Stiff" poem, even though a bit late. I had to wait for a very slow news day, when I had nothing much else or better to publish. |
