Much as I want to keep involved with lamma.com, both Superblue and I are living far from Lamma now. I’m in the Middle East; she’s in the UK. I reckon it would be a good idea to get at least one new moderator for the Parenting on Lamma Forum. Ideally, someone who’s living on Lamma and therefore knows what’s going on for kids and parents on the island. This way the forum could be more active and a better resource for you all. I'll still be around to help if you need me. Would anyone like to volunteer for the role of moderator of this Parents’ Forum? |

Some time has passed since that topic was created, but if you are still looking for a moderator, I can help out. Ran a phpBB forum before, been on Lamma for about 6 years and even got a 1.5yo daughter - guess I'm actually kinda over-qualified.  I can spend a few minutes every day and a bit more once or twice a week. |

Stimulate?  Activity?  Thought I'd get away with banning users, deleting posts, being feared and respected and stuff... living off bribes and donations... now it sounds like I'm not even gonna get a "MODERATOR" t-shirt. |

Feared? No. Respected? Not at all. After being a mod here for several years I've made many enemies and had entire threads devoted to my bastardy. The ratio of thanks to vicious personal attacks is about 1:100. But Lamma-Gung does sometimes share the spoils -- occasional meals in lieu of payment for ads. |

Well, it might not fit onto your tiny S-size T-shirt, but it seems to fit into this forum! See your new title above your avatar! Hah, our longest and most illustrious "Official Court..." title ever anointed so far! It's even better than the formerly most popular "Official Court Village Fool", imposed onto the unwilling, recalcitrant recipient via an online vote by our members, during this forum's ancient and mysterious past history. By the way, the "Official Court Village Fool" title is currently also vacant, looking for a new title holder. Might you be interested? There's no limit to the number of honorary, illustrious titles one member can proudly claim in this forum!
