Hello Lamma Mama!

My hubby and I would like to move to Lamma, at the same time planning to have a baby. A few questions about childcare I'd like to ask:

1. Do you find local "aunties" / childminders to take care of your babies? (We'd like to keep working but don't want to hire a domestic helper)
2. Are there any childcare facilities like nursery in Lamma?
3. Do you send your children to kindergarten in Lamma, or on HK Island?

Thought it'd be good to know more... Thanks in advance!

There is a Catholic kindergarten on Lamma. My daughter went there for two years then the local primary school.

Considering the very low wages of domestic helper, it's probably cheaper to take one on full time than pay for a nanny to come in. But you need to arrange accommodation.
