We're about to move into somewhere with a small garden :) I'd like to clear it up, does anyone have any shears /pruners / garden tools I could borrow for a day or 2? Would be great to get it going...

Also advice on where to get some grass seed.. Will grass grow?? I feel like I haven't seen a lot of grass! Much appreciated.

Thanks!

If you are serious about gardening you will need the tools for more than a few days. The two main hardware shops in YSW sell most of what you need for reasonable prices (compared to Horizon Plaza). Grass will grow very well, but weeds will grow twice as fast. You can buy grass sods in Fa Yuen Street Mong Kok. You would be better off though doing a rockery with some paving in between. Maintaining a lawn in good shape is hard work in this climate. Also if you dont actually own the land the locals will be round to claim rent once they see it being put to good use.

Hello, By the way I have heard in Pak Kok that the tai peng community garden has tools to sell. Here ks my telephone number Remi 9859 0404 Thanks. I'm looking for a pickaxe (but it is only a translation of the french pioche) or something between a rake and a pickaxe if you see what I mean, with 2 or 3 points... thanks for your help! Remi
