"This is a "firecracker vine" ak Pyrostegia ignea; Pyrostegia venusta; and Bignonia ignea. It's a joy to see at this season, but for much of the year it is a rather invasive and unexciting plant, so keep pruning it if you have one. It will grow in a pot or in the ground, give it some sort of support to climb on or over.
Cut a section of mature stem and plant it in a pot of potting mix and sand. it should grow roots and give you a good show of flowers in another 18 months or so. Flower Market Road probably has good mature plants in pots at this season."
