[/quote] That's cool, but guys please don't say we're cramming religion down peoples' throats,
Is this the same group that has the church in Sha Po Old Village?
If so.... you ARE cramming religion down people's throats!!
I have two friends who are neighbours nearby, and they have made many complaints to 'this church' ... as Sundays are very busy, the lights are very bright at night, and it's constant noise all day with singing 'Praise the Lord' kind of songs and noisy socialising.
Respect your fellow man etc...... and yeh let them enjoy their Sunday's too!
As for festivals... yes, there are noisy festivals, and there are cultural temples, and even weekends were the 'Mah Jong' parties can keep you awake. But it's not in your face 24/7.
I respect everyone's faith. Whatever floats your boat... great!
But you need to have some consideration that people just don't want a giant cross stuck in their face every day.
The cross is an instrument of torture too remember. When I see giant crosses on a hillside it just reminds me of how many people have been killed and tortured over the centuries because they haven't agreed with christianity.
I study Traditional Chinese Medicine (as a hobby).... and years ago I would have been tied to the cross and burnt as a witch for this hobby.
So no...... some people just don't want this. you have asked a question, and you have had many answers.
