Is it an instruction not to carry out any sadomasochistic acts with any one from the local Ming family

Lamma-Gung {L_WROTE}:
Let's restart and continue this game:

It is a sign which was on the fantastic bamboo opera house. I was concerned I might inadvertantly flame as I don't know what it means!

On the opera house? Really?
I've checked my pretty detailed Chinese opera photo gallery, but couldn't find that sign:

My photo was taken somewhere else, far from the football pitch...

I remember such kind of sign in the bamboo opera house as well. But I assume they'll take that sign away as with their other stage equipment after the show.

Me three recall the sign at the Yung Shue Wan Opera House, but that's not to say it hadn't been illegally dumped elsewhere, then became our current question in the quiz!

By the way, watch out Sydney! The Yung Shue Wan bamboo and tint Opera House which married artistic style and practical construction methods, the state of the art walkway to the pier and the Banyan Tree Bay in between are oh so ready to take on your Sydney Opera House, Harbour bridge and harbour! And I reckon the YSW Harbour is definitely ready for IT!

Correct!
But what are you doing there, at the backside of the Refuse Collection Point? Chasing abandoned kittens to foster them?

That's hilarious Gung & e...

The real question is: what were you doing there Gung? And what did you find?

Eh... OK, so that was actually two questions jammed together... but who's counting?

Well, I was obviously looking for new snapshots for this forum!

As an intrepid photographer I go anywhere and anytime to get good and new photos for this site, even if it's dirty, dangerous or creepy! For example under the ferry pier, inside ruins, on steep hills, etc

50 yards from Main Street is an expedition?

Yes, for us lazy bastards that's a MAJOR expedition!

Veering off Main Street is not considered safe or advisable, even in the daytime!
While shooting these trash cans during my dangerous expedition, I encountered HUMUNGOUSLY HUGE, EERILY SILENT, INTENSELY FIRE-RED, FAST-FLYING dragonflies! See below! It was so CREEPY!

Going all the way through the Yung Shue Long valley would be like a MARATHON for us lazy bastards! It's all relative...

P.S. Samson, actually I was doing "research" about the Yung Shue Long drainage channel project, shooting photos while walking along the channel from the Refuse Collection Point back to the harbour, the exact area the government wants to put in a 2 metre-wide deep drainage channel. Beautiful area, full of lush vegetation & insects, just behind Main Street...

Ok, that dragonfly was not for guessing as they are very common & very numerous all over Lamma right now.

Here's another shot, likewise very common & very numerous all over Lamma...
Where? There are several clues in the picture...

Alan {L_WROTE}:

I was hoping for an Indiana-Jones style adventure... thinking the upturned bins were some kind of booby-trap. Or just another obstacle on Gung's bear hunt? Can he go through it? Under it? Over it? Or around it? My imagination ran a bit wild, obviously.

Lamma-Gung {L_WROTE}:
P.S. Samson, actually I was doing "research" about the Yung Shue Long drainage channel project, shooting photos while walking along the channel from the Refuse Collection Point back to the harbour.

Walking along the channel as in you walked in the channel? You're a very brave man!

Lamma-Gung {L_WROTE}:

Couldn't agree more. I take it the expedition was well worth the effort?

As for the latest where on Lamma quiz, is it the empty lot of land between the drainage channel and the road to Yung Shue Long and Tai Peng (before the rufuse collection bus stop)?

Correct, Naughtry Samson!
But this was too easy, too close to the last photo!

So how about YOU posting a photo now? Anybody else?
