Submitted by a private banker to the Lamma Tourism Office, which is what many Lamma visitors take this website for:

"Please tell me, how can I get to Lamma Island?

"I live in Bel-Air, Cyberport so I am assuming the easiest and fastest way to get there is to organise a water-taxi to pick me up from Cyberport Park and go straight across to the Island?

"If this is correct, please tell me, what is the number for booking a water-taxi and how much will this cost (return)?

"Thank you very much for your help."

I tried to help, but I very very rarely ever take a water-taxi to or from Cyberport, so I could only recommend the low-class ferry options.

Anybody got some good advice on "easiest and fastest ways" for this route, independent of price?

Jetskis? Submarine to avoid the container ships? Human cannon ball?

It's cheap and reasonably fast way to die. A teenager drowned in the waters of East Lamma Channel just off the coast near Wah Fu a few years ago.

From the Lamma Yellow Pages:
水上舢舨 - 友叔 90129264 NIL Sampan - Yau Sook
水上舢舨- 魚蛋婆 98285538 NIL Sampan - Yu Dan Por

Or just take the ferry from Central or Aberdeen.
To Central Exchange Sq.: New World First Bus 30X ($6.5)
To Aberdeen: Green minibus 58($4.0) or Citybus 73($3.9)

There're few guys who regularly jetski from Aberdeen to Luk Chau Wan I think...
