I went to Pizza Milano when it first moved to its new location and looked forward to ordering a yummy breakfast. That breakfast ended up being a lunch as it took almost 1hr and 15min for it to come out. I realize however that they were still learning how to deal with a slammed morning kitchen in a new location, so I let it slide. Plus the kind waitress was nice enough to offer me a free drink due to my wait.
Granted the place was only 2/3 full, but the meal itself was very yummy when it finally ended up coming out.
I thought I would give it another try last weekend, thinking that the kitchen would have since gotten a system down to an art. Well, the food came out fast enough, but the quality went waaaaay down!
The portion of their breakfast was much smaller. The potatoes literally had three small slices of potato. And the toast was one piece of bread cut in half. The eggs which were meant to have swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms but the canned mushrooms were no where close to sauteed and the amount of cheese was so small I couldn't even see it.
The eggs themselves were very overcooked and both my girlfriend and I felt they were unedible after a few bites.
At $68 per plate, I was expecting a lot more! I do like the taste of their pizzas, but I won't be back for breakfast again.
