Last night I found a pink lizard in my Ko Long apartment.

Have you seen one before?
It ran away before I could reach my camera, but basically it's a lizard, and it's pink.

My cat tried to make friends but for some reason the lizard didn't reciprocate.

A gecko, perhaps?

They're often almost translucent and come in greyish faint pink shades when young. How long was it?

As with so many other Lamma critters they've been breeding these weeks and where you once had only 1-2 adult geckos before in your flat, you now might have several additional small ones scurrying around.

We helped two of them to leave our flat peacefully in the last two days alone. One was waiting at the door till I opened it to rush out into freedom, the other one crawled onto my friendly friend's finger and was happy to be relocated onto a big leaf in our balcony jungle.
